2023 Suzuki GSX
The middle child – Suzuki’s lineup of amazing sportbikes already contains a 600, a 1000, and of course, the legendary 1340cc Hayabusa, so what’s so special about the 2023 GSX-R750? Everything. This bike is an insane machine that is equally as capable on a race track as it is on a downtown street or a curving mountain road. The GSX-R750 has been breaking the mould since its introduction to the market in 1985, and there are no signs of it stopping just yet.
Everybody knows the GSX-R line of Japanese sportbikes – timeless styling, meticulous engineering, and a whole lot of fun. The 2023 GSX-R750 is no different – at the heart of this machine is a 750cc inline-four designed with the sole intention of dominating the competition, and it may do just that. The four-cylinder engine pumps out power to the tune of 148hp and 64 lb-ft of torque. Cradling that powerplant is a twin-spar aluminum frame. This bike weighs in at 419 lbs (190kg) – for reference, that’s only 7 lbs (3.1kg) heavier than the 2023 GSX-R600, which produces 104hp. It goes without saying that this is an insane package.
This bike’s racing intention is made obvious by the inclusion of high-end parts like SHOWA front and rear suspension and a Brembo braking setup. Adjustable foot pegs & shift lever are just some of the ways that this bike makes it easy for riders to tailor it to themselves. Additionally, the bike comes standard with the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS), which allows the rider to fine-tune power output according to the riding conditions ahead.
In order to honor Suzuki’s racing history, the GSX-R750 can be purchased in a GSX-R750Z package which adds a MotoGP-inspired livery to the bike for an additional $100. Aside from the Z package, the bike is offered in a pair of two-tone color options – Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Matte Stellar Blue or Glass Sparkle Black/Glass Matte Mechanical Gray. In Canada, the bike is only available in the Black/Gray color scheme or the Z livery.
The 2023 Suzuki GSX-R750 starts at $12,849 USD / $13,899 CAD.

From Suzuki
Reducing mechanical losses by minimizing internal engine friction, reducing the weight of reciprocating internal parts and relieving crankcase pressure can increase mechanical efficiency, putting more of an engine’s output to use actually moving and accelerating the motorcycle and also improving fuel mileage and reducing emissions.
The shorter wheelbase better centers the combined machine/rider mass between the wheels, improving racetrack cornering and also shortening the reach between the seat and the handlebars. The shorter reach and slightly wider handlebar angle make it easier for the rider to re-position their weight while on the racetrack and also improve comfort on longer highway rides.
